E-Book Version of "Major Decisions: A Guide to College Majors" Now Available for Kindle

May 23, 2011

Westford, MA, May 23, 2011 — With the electronic book (e-book) market continuing to grow in popularity among young adults, college-bound students across the country can now use their e-reader to help decide which degree field to enter.

Alloy Education, the leader in student recruitment and higher education marketing, has announced a new e-book version of the Wintergreen Orchard House title "Major Decisions: A Guide to College Majors," published through Kindle Direct Publishing. The e-book is now available for $9 on Amazon, and can be purchased for Kindle devices and Kindle applications for iPad, iPhone, iPod touch, PC, Mac, Blackberry, and Android-based devices.

The print edition, which was first published in 1996, helps guide undeclared students to an informed decision on a college major. Now, students and parents can browse over 160 of the most popular college majors and read about required courses, suggested high school preparatory classes, career possibilities, and other related majors, all on their e-reader.

"'Major Decisions' has been the go-to source for students looking to choose their career direction and prepare appropriately," Alloy Education President and CEO Joe Moore said. "Students can get the same quality information from the print edition in a format that has become a new and accessible way to prepare for the college search."

Other Wintergreen Orchard House publications are in development for e-book versions, including "The College Finder" and other titles.
